There's also Curse of Magic Negation, which seems kinda crappy, greater infernal healing, contagion, summon accuser, fleshworm infestation, shadow projection, and bestow curse is apparently now a curse as is lesser geas. In other words, take SMIII.Ĥ:Animate Dead. Vision of Hell makes people shaken if they fail their save. Force dudes to become cannibals, I guess.ģ:Lesser Animate Dead, maybe? There's also Howling Agony which kinda blows, as well as Pain Strike which is a piece of ass. In which I find spells for that Drow Fey Sorceror (I've been wanting to play him for a while in a PF game)Ģ:Ghoul Hunger. You can 'enhance' this by taking prestige class levels in Veiled Illusionist or with the Arcane Bloodline. You won't have ALL ZEE SPELLS and you'll still be a spellcaster level behind, but by level 7 you'll know 7 level 1 spells, 5 level 2 spells, and 4 level 3 spells. Seriously, just grab a human or a race with the human subtype and use the racial option to have an extra spell known. The only thing a 'sorcerer knows ALL ZEE SPELLS' has on them is that they can cast them spontaneously but, oh yeah, Pathfinder wizards get a feature that lets them do the same trick 1/day at first level. Both from their archetype and from pearls of power. A wizard going down that same road still trumps the sorcerer, because they get a new spell level a level earlier AND they can also get a higher volume of spells. millions?'Īnd anyway, you're never going to be making the wizard jealous. It's like hearing someone go 'why make billions when you could make. Therefore, I do not want to hear anyone talk about using Paragon Surge on a sorcerer ever again. If you're going to be cheesy/stupid enough to use Paragon Surge, you may as well just be a cleric, since they can do this stupid-ass trick just as well after implementing a minor tweak. Fucker didn't think to include them in his books and here I am, the crazy one chosing his race based on colors that don't happen in nature.Įnough ranting. I blame Tolkien that 'exotic' races are only there to fill books, not to be played. I'll also take any other options, but keep in mind that I have to craft some reason for my character even being in that region, so any uncommon races are flat out, or rather not worth the effort at this point. At least one per spell level would be nice.

I'll need some useful hints for spells with this one. Most curses don't even seem to have the curse descriptor. There seem to be few spells to be picked up with this aside from the 'summon evil monster' and 'protection from good aka nobody you will really face here'. My second idea is Drow with Fey bloodline, but I have a problem with the altenate favored class option. Any thoughts or experience with this Bloodline?

The arcana on the other hand seems less useful than a paper dog in hell. Kinda like the idea, don't expect to rock the world though. I have narrowed it down to an Ifrit with the Efreeti Bloodline for some blaster action. All I know about Sorcerers is pretty much that they sucked more in third edition, meaning I can't really make a decent choice in Bloodline.

Now to the specifics of my non-knowlegde. Going Wizard is still an option, but another player wants to play one and I don't want to compete for that slot.

First: is it any good to have a charisma caster without all social skills maxed out in this campaign? If not, I'd like suggestions how to fix that without becoming a bard or something even more stupid. Not sure if that is actually useful, never played Kingmaker before, the player guide kinda hinted at this being not the worst possible stat in kingdom building. I'm picking a Sorcerer this time, because I suck and want to cover the need for someone who has more than 7 charisma. I'm joining a Kingmaker game, from the beginning all the way towards the end. No attack or damage rolls? What are you even doing here? Should have seen that coming after the Bard multiclassed into Druid at level 2. That's what you get for using Color Spray and Sleep. So my last group crashed and burned, or rather kicked me out for doing nothing. Yeah, I still can't figure shit out by myself.
